Dazed Dog

After I drove to the vet a week ago only to be told that they had booked my dog in a week later than I thought, today was the day for his dental treatment.
I took him to the vet for a blood sample and an injection to calm him and then left him there.
6 hours later I picked him up and was told he (and more importantly his teeth) were fine.
He was whining the whole 20 minutes in the car and once at home wouldn't stop and couldn't really settle. It was slightly distressing, but as he ate a treat I gave him I was confident that he wasn't infer any pain but that it was the effect of the anaesthetic.

The picture is a proof of that... He never normally sticks his tongue out
