‘Coots - Update’

Further to my blip of a couple of days ago, showing that the first lot of coots (we now have a second pair) had succeeded in beginning to start a new family - with just one chick at that point - following the disaster of just a few weeks ago…..

Well, now there are six hatched, with possibly more to come!

Meanwhile, (extra photo), the surviving three cygnets are growing up fast - not bad for a month and a half old!
