Nautical

The day started with a leisurely trip to Brodie Castle where we wandered around the playful garden before coffee and cake - an essential element of any National Trust for Scotland  property visit.

Back in Lossiemouth the sun enticed us to explore the marina more closely.   I liked the colour and texture of the sanded hulls on these boats currently undergoing maintenance and repair. And who can ignore a colourful lobster pot (in extras)

In other news, L has just phoned to say she has secured a permanent teaching post in her probation school. She is over the moon. Proud Mum moment. Celebrations will be held and they might involve cocktails and/or Prosecco.
