Somewhere on Benbecula

What a difference a day makes! A bit of a cliché I know, but.... we drove to Lochboisdale today, and explored South Uist and Benbecula as we came back north visiting Flora McDonald's birthplace, lunching early at Kildonan community museum café, taking a walk across the machair at Drimsdale, hiking up the hill to view the beautiful statue of Our Lady of the Isles. Final stop coffee and cream scones at Kirklibost just down the road. A fine day!
