On The Verge

There’s much heated debate about the state of the area’s grass verges on the local Facebook group. There are those who welcome the fact that the council have neglected them for some months, hoping that this is encouraging a greater diversity of local wildlife. Then there are those who think they make the area appear scruffy, and want them mowed and manicured. There are also some who are complaining that the growth obscures their view when exiting junctions in their cars (maybe if they were driving F1 cars, or something equally low down, I could understand that…)
Personally, I rather like the wilder look.
