Early Morning

I was up early this morning and took my coffee down to the dock to just sit  and listen to the birds singing, the loons calling and watch the shore for an animal that might come down for a drink.   Of course, I had my camera ready just in case a possible blip appeared.  
A fish jumped but I certainly wasn't fast enough to catch that!   No thirsty animals came to the shore while I was there, but two loons did swim by.   They are so entertaining to watch - the way they swim along, then quietly dive down to look for food.   It's amazing how far they can swim under the water - you never know where they will surface again.    This loon came close enough to the dock for me to take some photos and the extra is another view of the back bay.
