Soaking up the Sun

This lovely blackbird was in just the right spot this morning, he sat there in the sun for quite a while just having the odd sip of water and relaxing.
Went to photo club this morning and I had to sit inside discussing the forthcoming exhibition and looking at photos when all I really wanted to do was get outside and take some. I did manage a short walk in what was left of the sun after lunch, so I feel better for that :-)
