Crater Lake

Always so impressive, this 1949 feet deep lake is the deepest in the US. The girls had not been there before, they were amazed.
We were going to camp near there, but at 6000 feet it was cold, and the sign at the campground: “Bears are in the campground” kept us driving to lower and warmer elevation, away from the wilderness. Found a great place on the Roque River.
