Walk into town

Mostly spent today in the garden. After a day on Tuesday when my balance was awful today was much improved! We walked down to the butchers to get chicken for the tea and the fruit merchant to get local strawberries and raspberries. The taste is superb! Nothing better than Perthshire soft fruits.

Reading so much from the cafes and restaurants etc in areas of the highlands and north Perthshire of the shortage of staff caused by Brexit. There just isn’t enough people to fill the vacancies. A restaurant we went to in Boat of Garten has had to close as he can’t get a chef despite advertising since February. And another place we go to in Aberfeldy when there has had to close two days a week as he can’t get staff to cover shifts and they are so busy but he said he needs his staff to have time off. This saddens me this debacle
