Cockleshell Beach

Had a drive up to one of my favourite places today. Kippford in Dumfries and Galloway lies on the River Urr estuary and the outgoing tide reveals extensive cockle shell beaches. There are also distant views of the Lakeland fells across the Solway Firth.
