Litter pick in Linn Park

I've started a summer project of litter-picking around Glasgow and started yesterday in Linn Park. The 5 white bags are rubbish picked up along 500m of the path, which is pretty bad.

Even worse was an area off the path which has evidently been used for industrial dumping and as a drinking hole. I managed to collect most of the loose litter but there are still massive piles of rubble and tarp that I can't do anything about. Will write to the council and try and get them down to pick up the bags and rubble.

Very concerning and sad to see this much litter around - I know there are more people nowadays volunteering their time to keep the city clean but there are still way too many people that just don't care. Such a shame for such a beautiful green space.
