Top of Othmarsingen

I was up and off by 7.00 this morning, plan was to get to the top of our village. This is a 35m tower, freshly rebuilt, on top of the Maiengrün. 590m plus 35m. Didn’t see a soul, the whole way up through the forest and back. It was already very warm, but refreshing under the trees. Just brilliant views through to Germany in the north, the Bern Alps, central Swiss Alps, Glarner Alps....
Back down via the farmshop to get strawberries, asparagus, new potatoes and spinach, before the home office opened at 9.30. I’m embracing the new hybrid flexible office plan, even before we start it!
