Two cygnets left

This morning I went to Wolverhampton hospital for an echocardiagram.  It was raining as we left the hospital but still dry back at home. The garden could do with a good soaking (preferably overnight).

This afternoon I have been doing a few more preparations for my son and family that are arriving tonight.  I popped down to the postbox and passed the swan family at the castle.  There were four originally (blipped here) then their parents took them away somewhere for a few days. They returned today with only two cygnets so assume that they have been predated.
