Hometime!!! Really?!
This was my face when papa said we were all going home from the horrible hospital today! I don't think I have ever been so happy, and neither has mama!
Last night was very tough, but it was worth it as the last of whatever was stuck in my tummy finally came out! Mama got in big trouble with the nurses about how much noise I was making and keeping the other boys and girls awake, so we ended up walking about down in reception for hours but whatever, seemed to do the trick in the end.
Then this morning I got given some special medicine that made me feel really weird and then a nice professor put a fancy camera down my throat into my tummy. Mama and papa had to wait outside and she was a bit upset not to see what was going on, especially as I was still awake when she left the room.
But it was over fast and then I finally slept for a full 4 hours after it! By that time the professor had been to say that she didn't see anything unusual inside my tummy, but taken a few biopsies to bits and pieces to see if there was a cause or if it was just bad luck. She also confirmed that all the nasty stuff was more or less gone and gave us a note for some medicine to tackle the rest.
So, I'm all dressed up in my scotland strip ready for tonight's face off, played in the garden and said hello to all my toys. And mum is curious to see if there is finally a difference in sleeping now I don't have anything in my nose, up my bottom, funny lights or strange bed... we can only hope.
Lastly... a HUGE thank you to everyone who sent good wishes, prayers or happy thoughts and supportive words to either mama or papa this week, let's hope the worst is behind us!
