Photostop in the graveyard of Penistone Church
I’m always drawn to this ceramic tile sculpture that was created by local children with the help of a ceramic artist. I do hope that children will be given this kind of art experience again soon. They’ve had such a hard time during the last eighteen months with the lock-down and inability to attend school.
I’d parked on the road to the left of this image and needed to cross the graveyard to get to the Country Market which was being held in the St John’s Centre. Unfortunately the man who makes the veggie (sausage) rolls was away, so I had to buy more cake instead.
