Deserted Beach

After we’d dropped Sophie off at school, we headed to Burnham for a stroll along the beach. The weather was dull and chilly compared to recently so it was pretty quiet.

The far end of the beach here, where dogs are allowed, was the busiest but once we got beyond the lighthouse it all got very empty.

Having walked over 5 miles we were ready for a sausage and egg bap and a slice of bread pudding from the excellent Lizzie’s Kitchen, the American Diner style takeaway cafe in the car park at Apex Park.

Since we got back I’ve been mainly watching football. The England Scotland game is about to start so must fly!
