Sewing Bee

Friday afternoon is Challenge Time at our school where the children choose a practical task (usually involving junk modelling) connected to our class topic (castles at the moment). They are very good at building models from old boxes, creating a collage, making puppets or dolls and today, these girls decided to make themselves costumes fit for a medieval banquet. It’s so nice to watch them totally engrossed in a creative activity.
It’s been a busy week and I have several jobs lined up for the weekend.
But for now… football and gin.
