Chores

It has been another domesticated day.

I was gardening most of the morning. I spiced up my afternoon with laundry and ironing. 

To be honest, I quite enjoyed the gardening. The weather was ideal - sunshine but with a cooling breeze. I got into a couple of the messy corners which always seem to be stuck at the bottom of the task list. 

Next week brings the last of my weekends away for just now, before the school holidays start, and today I got into the mood by booking a bus, a ferry and a lunch.
