Keith Leslie Chadwick

Today I went to Keith Chadwick’s funeral. I knew him as Maxine’s Dad and Maxine is one of my oldest friends.

It was fascinating, even astonishing, to hear about what an interesting life he led, as growing up, my friends parents were so peripheral to the main event (aka my egocentric world)…

I was there to support Maxine but it was wonderful to see all of her lovely children all grown up and Piers her brother and family.

RIP Maxine’s Dad I’m glad that you lived a life on your terms and could surprise your children with your antics even when they thought you were past it! X
