Looking So Bright & Cheerful

A very welcome and needed week off starting today and to celebrate no more school for Sushi as well, we headed into York for some shopping. It didn’t quite go to plan as the traffic was horrendous, we tried a number of different routes and they were all blocked, a 40 minute trip ended up taking over 1.5 hours.

The rainbow umbrellas were looking so bright and cheerful over Coppergate. Town was full of people, so not much social distancing happening and the first few shops we tried to buy some clothes had system failures and were cash only! I have to confess we weren’t really enjoying it so we quickly headed home. I say quickly but we hit the same traffic issues and it took us over an hour to get home again!
