Wellborn Gourd Farms fortuitously started a 50% off sale today, our final day in San Diego. I have documented a number of wife's finished projects, but here is where they all start. I had to convince her to buy more than a couple, they were half off after all and we had a vehicle to transport them all the way back to Zihuatanejo (once we are finished in Penasco). She searched the racks, which must have contained thousands upon thousands of gourds, for the perfect size, shape, and structure. It took some time, but she eventually found a dozen good ones to take with us back to civilization.
