I blame myself for not being able to read. Well, I did to start off with - then I checked and found they'd changed the dates...

The Big Outdoor Football Fiesta (BOFF) was due to start at the Ottawa Internationals - and Ottawacker Jr. was ready to go. Until I checked where the field was again and found it wasn't until Thursday.

He was remarkably sanguine about the whole thing. I'd have gone around kicking plants and tables, but he shook his shoulders and gave me the "well, I sort of expected it" look.

So we did some balloon tennis on the back deck instead.
