Old Coast Guard Pier at Low Tide

We headed home today to prepare our Father's Day dinner with the family; we celebrated early since my nephew & his kids leave tomorrow morning. It was a delightful time together on the deck; good conversation & food. Our kids & my nephew had not seen each other for too many years.......it was nice to see the close interaction & love.  We are so blessed with a wonderful family. All is never perfect, but very nice; little Miss Ellie had a cough & sore throat so her family was not here and one of the grandsons is stressing at his job.  Working as the manager at a car rental company right now is super stressful; every day he has to deal with angry customers because of the lack of cars available to rent. Can you imagine having to tell a customer with a reservation that they don't have the car they reserved or that there is NO car available for them? He said that happens every day. He is so sensitive and it breaks his heart.  :-((
