Why did I?

You know those days where you think, I wonder what the room would look like if I move A to B and B to C and C to goodness knows where? Well I'm having one of those mad moments today!

After hovering, mopping and cleaning the whole house from top to bottom, I then decided I was bored with how our living room looked. The only trouble is I know everything will look great once I've put it where I now want it but my husband will possibly not be too impressed when he gets back.
He hates cables that can be seen and look messy so he spent a good wee while tidying/hiding the cables that run along the wall to our PC and also feeding the TV aerial down under the floorboards and back up again to where we needed it.
So you guessed it this all now needs moved!

Being a modern girl of course, I got out the drill and also crawled under our floorboards to make sure I calculate the new place for a hole in the floor. A relatively easy job, except to get under the floorboards in my living room I first have to climb down into the basement under our kitchen then crawl along a few underground corridors threw narrow gaps to get to under the living room! This wasn't too bad but now the battery is flat on the drill and I can't do anything more until it charges up.

So in the meantime the living room is topsy turvy and hopefully my husband won't arrive home to see the chaos I have now started but not finished!
