RSPB St Aidens

We met our friends Carol and Phil here and had a gentle wander, lovely at this time of year to see the babies - lots of cygnets and goslings. But it was the very young coots - cooties (thanks google) so beautiful in their ugliness! and the baby great crested grebes - grebettes! - that stole my heart. Hope you like them
Much better day than forecast - hot! Back home and I felt like a nap, but settled for photo faffing and a cup of tea
