Mary Berry's simple chocolate cake recipe, filled with apricot jam and mountains of cream. Next weekend we'll be camping so this is cake day.

Walked round the Highland Titles Nature Reserve near Duror. A very odd place where you can own a share in a little bit of Scotland and gain a dubious title. On the good side, there's a great Sustrans track and wildlife-filled ponds in the woods. Saw loads of dragonflies and damselflies.

Gorgeous sunshine and a barbeque this evening to look forward too.
