RSPB Langford Lowfields

What a splendid place!

I took a trip today to RSPB Langford Lowfields and it is a truly lovely spot. The chap at the hut said there wasn't much going on at the moment, with it being wetlands, I imagine, the over-winterers are elsewhere. He did say there had been five Bittern sightings today, sadly I wasn't one of the lucky ones to see them or hear them booming. What I did see were magnificent wildflower meadows, I've added a few extras.

Why the main photo of cow parsley? Sometimes the ordinary is rather beautiful if you look closely enough.
