I don't do bugs!

I was doing my usual flower shots at the allotment - feverfew this time - when I spotted this bug on one of the flowers,  remaining very stationary.  I thought maybe even I,  who doesn't do insects,  could capture this one.  Not up to fellow blipper stevvi's standard but not bad for a start.  Then I thought I had better try and identify it - so I think it may be a female  Oedemera nobilis.  It's National Insect Week from 21st and there appears to be a photography competition - not sure this is a winner!
There are so many things to learn with photography - how the camera works for one! - but also all the things you photograph. Extra shows what I have been looking for since I shot what I thought were grapes forming on the vine on 5th June but then wondered about "grape blossom".  This is it!   And then I wondered why I have never seen bees swarming around grape vines - it turns out they are self fertile hermaphrodites.  Something else to bore people with at a dinner party.  The other extra is Feverfew - good for migraines apparently - not to get one!
