Update

Today was dominated by a rearranged appointment back at the oncology department at Barts. It was confirmed that the PET CT scan found that the cancer has spread from the kidney to a nearby lymph node. 

That changes the treatment plan. Instead of going straight to surgery, they have recommended a short course of chemotherapy first to try to eliminate the cancer in the lymph node and anywhere else in the lymphatic system. 

When I came out Tim was sitting on this bench out of the sun. It seemed so appropriate as I’m now a renal patient at Barts. Thank you to Walter Mills’ friends and family.
