Micklethwaite.

A beautiful, beautiful walk from Bingley up through lovely little paths, along the hillside and on to Micklethwaite. It's such a gorgeous, picturesque hamlet. You'd be mistaken for thinking you were in the Cotswolds or The Dales. From there you meandered back down through fields to the canal to The Five Rise Locks and on to The Three Rise Locks.

The afternoon even included a trip to Hattie's in the garden centre at Stephen Smith's for a brew. It's been a long time since I've been in a cafe and I've always loved this particular one. :-)
