Blossom path

I had a belated birthday celebration today with a group of friends. We had a picnic at Furzey Gardens in the New Forest. It’s June, the sun should be shining but It was very cold and everything was very wet and rather battered after the torrential rain yesterday. The photo is one of the paths strewn with blossom from the trees and shrubs. Regardless, we had a really lovely time, a picnic sat at a picnic table and even had a birthday cake with candles. Perfect!
