Oh dear - that's a shame

The new boiler is working well but unfortunately the flue has not been completely sealed through the roof and the heavy rain last night caused some to seep through to the kitchen! British Gas were very quick in responding to my phone call - an engineer arrived within the hour  -  however he could not do the necessary cementing etc.  in the still pouring rain  but was able to effect a temporary solution which is totally waterproof and they will return asap to deal with it properly.
