Golden Milk

Not feeling that bad yesterday, so was annoying to have a dry cough during the night. Got up at 3am and had a spoon of Manuka honey and a Panadol. Finally got to sleep.

Had another in-bed day. Made a golden milk this morning - incorporating grated frozen ginger - was it Jamie who I recently got the tip from!

Mr B has looked after me well. Footie and Queens are keeping him more than happy. Didn’t find any decent films today, so worked on my family tree, and kept an eye on GB News. The sound seems to have improved.

My dear Italian friend persuaded me to do a Covid test. Luckily had a pack at home (they were handed out to passersby in town a few months ago). Was 99.99% sure I was clear, but nothing to lose. Read up what to do. Pretty straightforward. Then a 30mn wait for the result. As predicted, all clear.

Just listened to a discussion on GBNews. St Pauls Girls school headmistress, is dropping the ‘binary’ ‘Head Girl’ label in favour of ‘Head of School’. Expected the rapper (Zube) interviewed to be supportive. But no! And he quite rightly suggested it was incongruous as the school is named St Pauls——Girls School!
