Father Blackie
I went to check on the digger brood of wrens and father Blackie was there again collecting juicy morsels for baby Blackie. The other day he did a sort threat display - bowing, spreading his wings and tail and chooking at me.
The light was awful but I managed to get a shot of one of the wren fledglings. (Extras) I'm smothered with 'gnat' bites after hanging out birdwatching by the farm ditch.
I'm able to get reasonable shots of birds in flight with the R5 using a fast shutter speed and the eye detection setting. I've had no success with propeller planes and helicopters as these require slow shutter speeds to blur the props/rotors. :(
