Water Iris

Had a great visit to the Fowlmere RSPB Reserve today with C and N. It is only about 8 miles away, but we have only been twice before. The paths were in very good shape, and it was a lovely walk. Apparently it had been developed for watercress beds for the London market, so there was a network of paths and boardwalks as well as a couple of hides. It was not busy and we heard plenty of birds. As usual they were impossible to see even with binoculars!
