Chicken politics

Chicken politics update... Lagertha (the white one) is a psycho, and is STILL attacking the not-so-new girls. She’s been separated in a temporary run, and Freya has now bonded with the newcomers, so she occasionally defends them against Lagertha. But with her behaviour not improving next stage is a rough division of the main big run so they can be close but with no chance of attack. Never had a chook take this long to accept more into the flock!

Of course if we were in the country you can, to an extent, leave them to sort it out. Suburbia wouldn’t (rightly) appreciate the noise (thankfully we’ve only ever had to rehome one noisy chicken).
