Project 365 day 170: quiet and slow

It's been a slow day, heavily overcast again though cooler and less wet than yesterday. P was out walking early, as always, but J and I started slowly and sat over breakfast, enjoying the Saturday luxury of bagels and Brie. This afternoon she joined the Accessible Film Club on Zoom, to watch a Spiderman movie together and then chat about it, and I left her to it, returning in time to sign for her when she joined the post-film chat. 

I went for a short walk round the village and wandered round the churchyard, which is a very peaceful, green space sloping down the side of the valley with a view up to the downs and the opportunity to peep into other people's back gardens. It has many trees, and stone headstones from the past few centuries, mostly now weathered to illegibility. Today I was delighted to find a large patch of ox-eye daisies left unmown: I love these big daisies, especially in large groups.
