Flowers don't last long

These rhododendrons are at Sandringham not in my garden but the weather has battered both in the last day or so.
Intermittent drizzle rather than heavy rain today so we braved a stroll around the Sandringham woods. We chose the yellow route that turns out was 3 miles long. People about but not crowded so a nice couple of hours.
Back to do some more pottering in the garden. It is strange but all the jobs that were piling up when we had company have now been "pottered" away. So if the sun comes out I will be sitting and enjoying the garden rather than working in it.
