Ferriby beach.

Seeing a local neighbourhood report a few days ago about litter left on Ferriby beach I was quite surprised, not about the litter but about the fact that Ferriby had a beach. So on the day of our 50th anniversary we took a short drive had a coffee and toasted teacake as you do, then went in search of "the beach". It's actually Ferriby foreshore, but when the tide is out it does provide a nice place to bring our Grandchildren. A very nice find. The toasted teacake wasn't the main celebration of our 50 years, the family gathered together and had a lovely meal at the Star Inn, Sancton, a wonderful day.
