Street brunch

Late this morning we had a lovely Takahe Drive (our street) brunch at The Sign of TheTakahe restaurant which is just a few hundred metres from our house. It was great to catch up with people that we know and also meet new neighbours. The weather is very wet and very cold so it was definitely an inside day. Tomorrow is the winter solstice or, more commonly referred to as the shortest day. Time to plant the garlic if it would only stop raining.
