Unfortunate chafer

This unfortunate emerald beauty was dropped in the garden this morning by a passing myna, who tried to pick it up but then decided against it. When I photographed it, trying stacking and bracketing for the first time - I hope to improve that - it was no longer moving so quite easy to capture. Its loss my gain. Nature is brutal.
