Islay

A couple of walkers are heading past a herd of wild goats for the American Monument on the Mull of Oa. It commemorates the tragic loss of 650 US servicemen, who died in two naval disasters in the closing months of the 1914-18 war. Many of the bodies were washed up at the foot the cliffs.
