Saimaa Canal Museum

Today was Open Garden Day and I chose the Saimaa Canal Museum as my destination, which is 5 kilometers from my home. The weather was hot +30 C and not even the warm wind just cooled my trip, but luckily I understood to have a drink with me.

This beautiful wooden house has been built 1845 and has originally made for  Canal District Manager. The museum also has a café, so it was good to have a little coffee break with a strawberry bun in its garden before heading home. Despite everything, the walk did just fine, even though it was a little heavier than normal.
