Swimming Day

The day started with a video phone call from Julia, Harriet and Isabella wishing me a happy Fathers Day, although the twins couldn't get their head around that and kept saying "Happy Birthday Grandad" HAHAHAHAHAHAHA They were off to 'Bubble Park' for swimming and lots of fun. I said this photo was Isabella, Marlane said she thought it was Harriet - Yes, it was Harriet - DOH!
It was a lovely way to be woken up, made me laugh first thing in the morning, although it was only 8am it was, of course, 10am for them.
On special days we get to choose the meal so today it was Tagliatelle and meatballs in a rich tomato sauce, all made from scratch by Marlane yesterday. The meatballs were added today to the boiling sauce and, I must say, it was all delicious, especially accompanied with the baguette garlic bread, freshly grated parmesan and fresh green salad and pea shoots.
The rest of the family came for dinner, Daniel, Joanne, Dhylan, Lennon, Hendrix, Buddy, Johanna, Ruby, Eric, and F.M.i.L. Betty, so 12 for dinner including Marlane and I.
New slippers, Grandpa Pig (Peppa Pigs Grandad) mug and socks and a card. It was a lovely fathers day.
