Night visitor

(Apologies if you think you saw this photo last night. You did. Thanks to our fancy night camera neither M nor myself noticed it had  an inbuilt date - March 19 2011- so it got uploaded to that date, before I joined Blipfoto.)


Something has been biting the heads off our geum flowers and in an attempt to discover the culprit M installed the night camera.
 
We suspected deer had found a way into the garden despite all our attempts to deer proof it.
 
Imagine our surprise then when the camera card is put into the computer to discover a fox wandering among the geums, not that we think he is the real culprit.  
After listening to todays gardening programe on BBC Radio 4 where a listener phoned in with a similar problem it was agreed the  guilty party is most likely deer from the local woods.
