White tailed bee

I saw this bee as I went outside this morning. In fact i saw it last evening on the ground and it hadn't moved very far at all. So, I went inside and got some honey and moved the bee onto the plate. A long time later it took off. I watched it fir some time as it drank the honey. It was fascinating to watch the tiny tongue come out and lap the honey up. If yo go large you may be able to see it.

Church on teams followed by us going to costa for a coffee. 
Fathers day call with canada which was good. Our daughter phoned early this morning and told us the youngest grand daughter came off her motor bike last night and ended up in a ditch with the bike on top of her which was still going when her father got there. 5 stitches in the knee and home at 3am this morning. Today she cannot walk so an X-ray tomorrow she thinks. We think she was very lucky considering she was being a bit reckless
