Little Purple Flower

I don’t know what kind of flower this is but my impression is almost a violet. It acts like a weed and I need to pull them regularly. But most times if they’re pretty I just let them be happy like this patch growing out of the rock garden.

They are tiny and delicate and as I say, pretty. They make me smile a bit because they seem to just grow anywhere and turn a mundane rock garden into something sort of beautiful.

I think my wife’s thinking is rubbing off on me. Who knows next I’ll be letting the dandelions grow.
