Water valve

Both the cold taps in the bathroom have been playing up and the basin stopped working completely, so i got out my tools this afternoon to see what could be done. First thing, stop the water getting to the taps - it could me quite a while to a) remember which pipe/valve does what in the airing cupboard, and b) make this one turn! Then, work out why the taps weren’t working. After 2 hours, I got it sorted but I didn’t expect it to take quite that long, so I didn’t get much else done this afternoon!
