Resting.....
We chilled at home today, doing a few domestics. There was brief sunny interlude in the afternoon. And that was as far as I went on the hunt for tiny creatures.
A welcome sight was the appearance of ladybirds, albeit harlequins. But at least they'll predate the blackfly that has infested my mock orange. It was the same last year. And so fascinating to watch the effect of the ladybirds and their larvae. In a matter of a few weeks the black fly had completely disappeared.
But the star attraction was this tiny bee nestled in the centre of a clematis. I really didn't notice it at first until it moved slightly. It did have a great spot to rest and sunbathe.
