Bar

In spite of all the things going on in the day job, today was the first time I have seen Some friends and former colleagues since the lockdowns started well over a year ago. It was great to be able to meet up in a pub (The White Hart near Waterloo) and, although the app-based table service was new to us, it was surprisingly easy to slip into conversation again as though the last year hadn’t really happened (although it was a big topic of conversation). We sat both inside for a meal and outside in the fresh air for a few more drinks until it got too cold. It was lovely to be in sight of a bar again.
